Our free-range, pastured-raised hens roam in their paddocks all day, enjoying a carefree life. In addition to the natural food sources available in their environment, we provide our girls with constant access to locally sourced feed, making sure they receive the best nutrition. We collect their eggs twice daily, to guarantee the best quality for our customers. Whether you like them scrambled, poached, or fried, there is nothing better than a fresh free-range egg.
There is something nostalgic about running sheep on a Central Otago farm, and we truly love every moment of it. If she could, Amanda would spend her entire day working with them. Sheep are perfectly suited to thrive in this unique environment.While we are currently only running grazing stock, we look forward to building our own flock in the near future.
Cattle are truly remarkable animals to have on the farm, and it’s easy to feel passionate about them. They play a vital role in enhancing pasture and soil quality. When we rotate our cattle after grazing our sheep, they positively contribute to our parasite management program, helping us decrease our reliance on drenches. In this way, cattle are not just livestock; they are essential partners in our commitment to caring for the land.
